Meet the Team
Graeme Webber: Writer (Script, Lyrics, Music). Musical Director.
Graeme developed a wide-ranging taste in music being involved in a very musical family.
In the late 60’s he joined a band “The Music Convention” playing endless gigs over many years around the Pacific on P&O cruise ships as well as having regular engagements around Auckland. The band made a number of recordings at Astor Recording Studios, Auckland, and also wrote backing music for Andy McAlpine’s iconic surfing movie “Children of the Sun”. Graeme has been involved with Company Theatre, Belmont, both on and off stage, has also written scripts for musical performances involving war time songs. Whilst in London in 2004 Graeme was inspired by Wren’s Monument to the Great Fire of London and immediately could see the possibilities of recreating those events in the form of a musical and started writing and composing.
